and somehow I’m the one confusing you?? HAHAHAHA… what a joke
^^^^^ I caught that too, ;D
Internet bench racing is the easiest of the three… Just look at the number of participants on this forum.
dude ill so race u right now, Go!
i win.
Damn you had me here on the internet… By like 2 hours.
But if we were to race in real life… From a dig, roll, whatever… It would be a different story
(cause you would win by 1 hr 10 minutes)
haha, good race. incase you were wondering after i pulled you by 2 hours of bandwidth, i put my flashers on.
That’s ok cuz, I stopped doing ricer fly bys with hazards 'cause when I do it the load on the alternator is too great and with my powerful and mighty 1.6 the car almost stalls out. Good run dude :lol
wish someone got that on tape, i’d so flame you on youtube
god damn street racers
get back on topic! :idiots
let me launch your car! its fwd… and it would spin, thats on topic
captain morgan + forums = :nono
One last off topic post… Ashton wanted me to call you Tuesday so me n you could swap cars so she could practice more haha.
too add to the fire… A friedn and I had nearly identical LS1’s with head/cam/headers/pully. We each had 427 rw hp and almost the same tq in the very high 300’s…like 387 me, 398 him. I ran an auto…he a stick. From a dig it was close…I often got a lil jump… but when that car hit 3rd gear with the manual it pulled on me like a freight train. They each have benefits… but auto isnt always faster, even in drag race conditions…they can be “made” faster, but often that level of work is not whats happening in the situations discussed above. A stock stick vs stock auto car, all else the same can have very different outcomes.
Racing from a roll… we…fun and cool…but from a dig is where a lil more talent comes in. Yes, autos take talent if you have a remotely strong car…fwd or rwd.
i havent driven a auto car since i drove stick, the whole idea of the car doing the work for you is boring to me. i’ll never drive auto again, unless i break my clutch foot and my right arm. IMO auto takes less skill. but as a benefit… the fastest track cars in the world are mostly automatics… because technology is more consistant and can shift faster than humanly possible.
Good post. The drivetain loss from the auto causing you to get pulled is a good point too.
you think maybe you should take your foot off the floor and control your launch so maybe…just maybe you can handle your big bad camaro…just a thought :ponder
yup it’s so easy from a dig.
that car is a candidate for wheelie bars :confused
oh snap :wow
+1
