I sometimes stand on my car to reach things in the rafters of the garage…
Does that count?

Had to TIG weld a leg back onto one of my living room end tables due to one of my friends breaking it off. Does that count?

That’s a really good idea. I’ll be trying this later.

Loctite + any plumbing threads (Ones where the threads don’t make the seal anyway) = best anti corrosion seal ever.

Cleaner wax for fading aluminum exterior trim.
Waterblade to clean the shower walls
Def. done the lexol on the leather couches

X…

Carnuaba wax on my front metal awnings…
Also gone thru a tube of JB weld on various household repairs :picard:

Motor oil as sexual lubricant… thats all I got.

Actually though, id love to see the inverse of this thread being “Hosehold Things You Use On Your Car.” Im sure were all guilty of that lol.

when the baby comes, the wife and I are switching rooms and I will need to take down my LCD. I plan to fill the holes from the wall mount with bondo lol

Mounted a sparco seat to an office chair base. Best desk chair ever!

Auto glass cleaner works 10X better than Windex for mirrors and windows. Going to wax my sink and Rain-X my bathroom mirror, BRB.

why would you use bondo on drywall, when there are products that sand much easier, take paint better, and are made for the job?

just sayin, bondo is dumb.

might as well use rice, bubble gum, toothpaste, anything that will harden over time lol

wd-40 on the bathroom mirror to prevent fog

Not on drywall… on painted wood trim. But there is woodfiller that is almost the same thing.

Ok i guess thats a little better, i could see that.

I love the coffee table

felpro cork gasket and a little RTV on the kitchen sink drains pipe attachments. where the strainer cup attaches to the plastic stub pipe. you can see the cork with the blue felpro stripes just a little bit when you look down the drains.

grey RTV (hondabond i think) on the bathroom tub drain.

Permatex The Right Stuff on the bathroom drain.

basically anywhere that calls for plumbers putty, i use RTV cause it is so much more permanent and NEVER leaks.

brake cleaner to wipe down the surfaces that i was going to caulk in the bathroom tub.

12v car audio active crossover for my subwoofers in the living room as im using separate amps and sub cabinets and there was no crossover in the amp. plus 24db/octave keeps it deep and tight.

Added some vinyl to go along with my hood.

edit yes that left candle is broken. I didn’t even notice it until I saw the picture.

broken, or curved for her pleasure?
