But it is ironic that the native chief in Avatar actually was IN Dances With Wolves (and got blown away then, too)

Saw this today. The 3D was very well done. Didn’t seem gimmicky. The story was very predictable but everything kept a good pace to keep me pulled in through the whole movie. Imax was sold out, Saw it in digital 3D. I will probably go see it again for Imax.

Why is James Cameron so baller?

Because he can make a movie with a 400 million dollar budget and not worry about making the money back. Everyone knows the money will follow despite this being a ROI only a few films have generated.

232 million dollar opening weekend. It will easily exceed 400 mil at the box office, followed by action figures, DVDs etc.

I want to see it in Imax 3D.
