so yesterday my PC was acting all f’d up… windows were opening and closing, mouse pointer going crazy and when I went to shut down windows it froze.
so I turned off my modem and shut windows down manually and restarted into safe mode and ran AVG.
I came up with a virus, “java/streaming” or something along them lines. AVG wouldnt get rid of it… so I cleared my java cache and ran AVG again… cool, no virus.
So a few hours later, again… windows start opening and windows was going crazy… again, froze when I went to shut it down. :wtf:
again, restart the machine and ran AVG… this time though, no virus. I ran Ad-Aware and come up with nothing.
any ideas? Sygate firewall pro wasnt picking up any software running (out of the ordinary atleast)
this only seemed to happen with the modem on… when I had it shut off, I had no problems what so ever.
