I would take his advice. He knows his shit with hondas.
so your saying drill a hole into my charge pipe and fix it with a grommet for the sensor?
K jk
Ignore my post lol
anyone have any other input on this? the car starts cold fine… idles how it should… and when the temp starts to ride it stumbles when you give it throttle. gets progressively worse at the temperature rises… the car will build boost when i hit launch control… but it will run like shit any other time.
ok, well at the very least, still get an AIT at least hooked up dangling free air in the engine bay.
Also, double check you don’t have map sensor and tps sensor plugs mixed up from the harness. The car will run and not throw codes if this is the case. disconnect tps and validate that it is throwing a tps code. If you get a code 10 for map when you do that your plugs are mixed up. Switch them then try again.
edit: stop fucking boosting when you know this thing isn’t running right. Your next thread will be a rebuild thread. If it’s not right at partial throttle, I guarantee going WOT with boost will not solve your problems.
i did plug a spare iat in. no change. ill try the tps/map asap. also, number 1 cylinder seems to not be firing as well as the other 3 cylinders. when i remove the plug wire. there is little to no change in idle versus if i remove a wire from the other 3 cylinders. i know my injectors are firing. and i’m positive i have spark, and the motor was re-ringed before i installed it… so i’m leaning towards a head gasket
