Looks great Chris
wow… Can i install that RNS-E on my 99.5 b5? Pm me with details please…
not without a shit ton of work… people have done it before but its not worth the time.
any engine mods planned?
nah not any time soon, it already has a chip and i get 26mpg through the hills here DD, and gets 30 mpg highway, not bad for having quattro.
what did u end up paying for the unit? i was going to do the rsn-e but went with the d3 instead
needs some HIDs all over the place… I don’t really like the wheels… I will be interested to see what you do to this thing.
paid around 1k, was all plug and play, including vagcom coding already done.
it does have the xenon lights, they are just not the high temp. HID’s or w/e
must be the contrast on the camera… I forget which packages the HIDs came with on your year.
looking good man
not true.
you need to shave about 1/8" off of the top and bottom of the radio.
and do some wiring on the back of the cluster.
they come on Sport and USP (ultrasport) packages, or unless you got a loaded non-sport
yes, i have sport package.
and going from symphony I to RNS-E i was just going by what was said on the forums. here is a write up for it:

Nice car. I’m guessing thats Honeoye lake in the background since the sign says Richmond?
that would be correct, especially since it says honeoye in my profile

Not your usual dsm, but an awesome dd none the less

Car looks good!!!
You did the smart move… IMHO the rsn-e is not worth the price…
yeah i paid the extra $$ to keep the factory audi look vs. other navi. units out there.
A little bit I drive around hemlock, honeyoe and the western side of canandaigua a decent bit exploring driving roads and going fishing and stuff. Also live on canandaigua for a good chunk of the summer.
