Haha, sure why not. Gotta have some love for the DD as well. So I just ordered all new brake rotors and PBR pads, timing belt, thermostat, water pump, serpentine belt, G12 coolant, a new coolant resevoir and resevoir cap. I also picked up a set of neuspeed lowering springs that will be going in as well. I’ll probably start (and finish) this project this weekend once all the parts have arrived. I am debating on whether or not I should pull the engine and do the clutch as well…
its easier than monkeying around with the tranny when the engine is in. and for the timing belt the front end will be off and the coolant drained. once youve got the car to that point the engine can be out in an hour or 2 depending on how motivated you are.
They design them to come apart I guess, lol. Plus we have don’t it once already with my S4 so the second time around is always easier/quicker. Then I’ll be pulling the engine in the S4 again making it a third time when I rebuild it’s transmission in the near future.
