B8 Avant/Allroad vs Subaru Outback

This go for everyone adam lol… have a 2013 tdi jetta sportswagon what kinda deals we talking here , friend of the family tibby hunt just picked up an alltrack from you guys … shes loves it

He’s referring to the subaru cvt specifically. It really is not very well programmed.

Ah yes! Tibby is awesome. Her and her husband were an absolute pleasure to work with. She got the same one I’m going to own at some point in the near future. Great color combo.

Regardless, I am more than happy to discuss the deals we have over PM. Just shoot me what you’re thinking about and when you want to meet up to discuss and I’ll set some time aside. Thanks!

Wanna buy my '09 Outback XT? Turbo, rare 5 speed manual, already has a tow hitch/wiring installed.

golf r, golf r, sti, _____ , alltrack? Is that really what is next? I’m itching to see the MT models hit the states. Not sure yet if I prefer the Sportwagen or Alltrack yet. seems like the former could save me a few g’s, but that Alltrack looks worth the spend.

I have a 2012 A4 Avant S Line Premium Plus with navigation, and I have to say I’m absolutely in love with it. Bought it a year ago with 80k miles on it, put 34k miles on it in a year, if you drive a lot, and it sounds like you do, it’s perfect.

Maintenance so far, I’ve replaced the timing chain tensioner as stated above, really not a bad job if you’re mechanically inclined and have an impact to get the crank pulley off. Expect a 4 to 6 hour job with just hand tools. There is also a plug in the timing cover you can pull to see which style tensioner you have.

Other than that, it’s just needed breaks, oil changes, and I had the transmission and rear diff oil changed as soon as I got it, which was like $500 at CDI.

Check out this thread for pictures and more info, I’d definitely recommend one. With a tune they are a 13.5 second wagon that will pull a 2000 lb trailer no problem.

I’m currently rocking a 2017 R. Not sure when or if I want to give it up until the Atlas comes out in a few months. Winter might be tough though.
