Bad day for the 240........

This morning i drove to school, i enter the parking lot and what do i see…
a 1990/91(not sure) ripped to pieces, and totally destroyed…
well heres how she looks …

I found out later on in this day that the training firemen, are practicing with the jaws of life, and they chose a 240 as their victim…

So ne ways i checked the car out and im pretty sure its the HICAS model, so that means there must be an LSD on it, im debating on driving up there, jacking it up and theifing the LSD on it…

I already grabbed the spark plug wires(NGK), and there in good condition so i grabbed them…

the body is screwed as u can see, but theres lots of engine components left…

the car is an 89 or 90 pignose. it does not have hicas or a vlsd.
And look at all the rust, the car was a POS anyway.

^^^^^ how do u know the previous owner didn’t change the front bumper to a pig nose…
and it had the hicas light, by the button’s for the rear windshield wipers…

Is that the fireman’s training grounds on Martingrove? I see all kinds of classic cars get ripped apart there. Hachis, Supras, MR2s.

I think i want to be a fireman, it must be a great stress reliever.

u should grab the sohc mafs, looks to be the only worthwhile part on that car

ye i think i might go there tonite and start grabbing more parts…
the maf, and the throttle body, and clean out the iacv, on it cuz mines screwed ne ways!!

^^^^if its still there tmrw, i’ll remove the throttle body, but i want the IACV from it!

so lets get this straight. Your going to get the SOHC MAFS. SOHC’s only came in 89-90 my friend. Why would there be a car with Hicas and SOHC engine. the damn Hicas lines won’t even line up with the ps pump. Its on the other side of the engine :roll:

you know what else is funny, when people think they need new power steering lines when going from dohc to sohc or from sohc to sr

or a dohc power steering pump for that matter :lol:
sohc lines, sohc pump + dohc backet with a little work fits fine.

as for hicas lines tho with an SOHC engine…impossible :lol:
