that’s a tough one, doesn’t look too bad, given the car the rest of the car that should be a given… If it was mine I’d want a bunch of solid gusset the center of the cross brace and I’d want to tie in the rear of the car/trunk into the rest of the cage.

What were you thinking?

No harness bar and mounts maybe 4 ft from the back of the seat = reaaallly long straps that will stretch like crazy in a wreck.

That bend is pretty common. Almost all cars get narrower at the top.
