why do some cars have tape over the headlights?
does it serve any purpose?
Yes, those are cars with glass lenses, the tape helps reinforce the glass from rocks and helps keep it together if it DOES break.
does laminx or that clear bra material on headlights save them?
I always wondered about the tape, but I figured it had to do with protection/debris. Another weird thing is the Green lights/film sometimes.
That Lamin-x stuff works good, I’d hope it would stop them from breaking or getting chipped up.
