if anything have a public ban list that remains locked so no one can post and bitch in it.
Couldent you post their ip’s then so you can see from which comp then. That could work.
We would rather not go around posting peoples IP’s.
Posting IP’s would be pointless anyhow since when they are banned it is usually done so through account & ip ban. If a banned member were to login with a different username and different ip (only way they could login) there would be no way to match them with a previous ip used.
that could also be considered an invasion of privacy, and could result in security issues for the banned user.
translation: bitter or stupid people who have the banned person on their shit list can try to flood or root the machine from which the banned posted. not cool. there’s a reason only only mods and admins have access to that info on the boards.
