I honestly haven’t played one level of black ops campaign to date :lol
This will be one of those rare games that I pre-order. Can’t wait to squad up with you guys and wreak some havoc. The Frostbite Engine has been in development for 5 years and I can think of no other franchise more deserving than BF.
Will be picking up for PC as well.
I’ll still sit here and mumble about the linear game play 
I expect if I get it, I won’t play single player again.

I agree about the linear game play. For me what kept it interesting was expansion packs and clan play.
I personally hate the expansion packs.
I’ve bought two for World at War and I think one for MW2 and I’ve noticed one thing.
They always come out right around the time that you’re sick of playing the game and or new/better competitor game is just around the corner.
Never buying one again.
Everybody was telling me to buy it for Black Ops whenever it came out recently and I didn’t. I haven’t really touched the game right around the same time (few weeks after) the expansion packs came out just because I’m sick of it at this point.

And then few minutes of gameplay they showed at the Press confrence yesterday, its slow as its a “distance” tank mission but gives you an idea of the scale and how fucking beautiful this game is… Its honestly ridiculous how real this game looks at times

I just rehauled my machine last summer…
but i am completely building a new machine for this game… thats how excited I am for it… I have never been this excited for a game
I’m in the same boat. I’m a huge BF fan and played BF2 for years. My system still plays the hell outta games but whatever I need to run this game flawless I’m getting. Can’t f’ing wait!
This is deffinately not one of those games I would be happy with on even say “high” vs " ZOMG ULTRA HIGH"
I want a system that can run it on “ZOMG ULTRA HIGH” without so much as a fucking studder or frame drop…
This may finally be the time i man up and go SLI… The visuals are “immersion” of it all is whats going to make this game intense… and I want to experiance it all
I was thinking about doing the same but my card is still uber expensive and hard to find. Will definitely be overclocking though.

This really is two games in one. You have the singleplayer missions which look epic and you have what will be the best multiplayer shooter in history thus far giving it long-term playing power
I’m thinking of going SLI for this as well, I want maximum graphics!
