i didnt’ race a 5.0 in Ohio when i was out there… i was turning right - plus he had slicks and skinnies on it… and apparently about a 4K stall converter… oh, and a wheelie bar (w/e you call it on a car) … dunno how it was street legal, but i decided not to find out :eek4:
I’m pretty sure they don’t have state inspections in Ohio, hence anything goes on the street.
The wildest car I’ve ever seen on the street was in Ohio…blown built big block Chevy in a 69 Camaro in primer, tubbed and rolling on fat slicks…so loud that I couldn’t hear myself think 20 yards away from it.
nice runs man! sounds like your car is pretty quick now… i bet she is well into the 13’s now. 96 mph traps is good enough for 13’s with the launch. my 2800 stall got me 13.89 at 97 with the old gears on street tires. i cracked off a 1.895 60 foot. the stall really helped… play around with it and you’ll find the way to launch it right on street tires and get good 60’s.

Yeah, I’m going to try to head out to PRP Saturday…I’m game for a street run later on too though.
