I can’t decide what I want to buy next.
I can shoot either one anytime as I live in the sticks.

Its between the Benelli MR1

Shotty might be cheaper ammo, plus you can hunt with it if you so choose.

Those are two pretty disparate choices. It really depends on what you want to do. The MR1 is cool, but I’d just do an AR if I wanted to shoot 223.

The shotgun will be more useful if you hunt.

X2 There are way better choices out there as far as 5.56mm rifles go. If a rifle is the way you want to go you should check out what Colt, Bushmaster, and Smith & Wesson have to offer.

Benelli Super Sport… you can use it as a field gun or use it to shoot sporting clays/skeep/trap.

The MR1 is lame, and a proprietary design.
