I’m not really sure how many people on this site are like me but I prefer to change my own oil, I really don’t like the jiffylube/instant oil change type places because I don’t want to have just some random mechanic who doesn’t give a shit touching my car. So when I had to get a quick oil change before a road trip and still had my tools packed up from being overseas I looked up the guys from Albany Speed Shop.
Right off the bat its nice to bring the car to a place where I can take a look at it when it’s on the lift, but it was also great to be able to shoot the shit with some other cars guys. The best thing is that they do solid work and I know I could drop off the car for any kind of work and it would be taken care of, I know who’s working on it, and they know me.
