best place to buy some ice skates

i went to dicks today (transit near Maple one) and the selection sucked. i dont need anything fancy, dont want to spend alot, but im gonna start skating again and hopefully get back into playing again. any idea???

Its in Rochester. But Locker Room Sports. Has the best prices skates and everything you need. I hope its Hockey skates

What I usually do is go to great skate, find the skate you want them hop online and see if you can find it cheaper.

Hockeygiant.com or epuck.com are good places to start. Theres always ebay too.

EDIT: i need the skates by friday night/saturady morning. so i need to get them locally, (in the Buffalo area). is great skate still at sheridan and sweethome?

Yep

great lakes skates (something like that) +1

sheridan | sweethome

:word:

yea great skate is the best hockey store in the area…good people good deals, check 'em out on sheridan

pay it again sports is always good for skates… the have like 3 or 4 year old skates that were originally ~$300 for ~$70

The pro shop in the pepsi center, good prices an product

great skate is the best place in the area imo, but the prices arnt very buyer friendly. Sometimes you can go there and find a close out skate from last year for a good price.

if your looking for a great pair of used skates i may be able to help you out…what size skate do you wear?

I’ve said it a bunch of other times before, but I work up at Great Skate, what size are your dress shoes? Depending on your size let me know, and I can try and get you a deal on something. We have so many different skates in the back from previous years that we put out in our tent sale, that are marked down over 50% off just not a lot of selection on size.

walmart has some cheap ass CCM hockey skates.

30 bucks i think.

I got a pair, used them a few times in toronto in the outdoor rinks, and at the rink downtown.

Works fine!

Yeah Walmart is starting to sell CCM products. I was kinda suprised.

thats what im looking for. thanks.

buy used skates, theyre already broken in, cheap and much better than brand new ccm’s. sheeesh.
