Local big hockey shop?

I need to get new skates. There’s nowhere around here where I can go and try on any of the skates I want: ccm v10.0, bauer one90 and one95, nike flexlite, and easton s15.

I realize that great skate and every shop is at the end of their product year, but I know there’s gotta be some store in canada not too far from here or some shop in a small town in the states that is bigger than great skate (more volume maybe) that may still have stuff.

The guy from Reid’s was very nice and I’d go to him at a different time in the season, but right now they don’t have much.

anyone know about a good shop?

does simmons do anything other than goalie?

Too bad Skater’s Edge is gone. That would of been my suggestion.

there is one right across the boarder called copala’s (sp?)

don’t know anything about hockey equipment, but theres a place on the corner of sheridan and sweethome that I drive by several times a day called Great Skate

im sure he knows that, prolly trying to find a place other then that :picard:

There is a place on NFB but i dont know the name, looks pretty big from the street.

im pretty sure great skate has all of those skates

im pretty sure great skate has most if not all of those skates

? sports replay (used crap) is the only thing i can thnk of

yes i know about great skate, they only have 1 skate in my size, a bauer vapor xxv double wide.

i just talked to front row, they have new bauers, and will have new ccm’s in a week

:word:right by clifton hill last time i was in there was a few years ago but they have a good selection

try sorrentino’s on sheridan (not the pizza place lol) right by ted’s hotdogs and caputi’s down in kenmore…they usually have some higher end type shit

cupolos doesn’t have ANYTHING right now

sorrentinos is all low end

the vapor 40’s are out now, the highest sorrentino’s has is the vapor 16 lol

you could check out Reid’s Hockey Store right over the boarder …

I wouldn’t recommend the S15’s … they are a light skate, but many people are having the boots crack once they get hit with a puck …

Sorrentino’s only has a couple styles of ever piece of equipment. aka their selection is VERY minimal. They’re skate sharpening is the best however imo.

damn, the boots crack? I’ve never heard of that.

had new rbk 9k’s on sunday. lasted about ten minutes then switched back.

I really want to try on one70’s and ccm 10.0

Not sure if he still has them but sports replay had a pair of rebelions left (new) they are out of business but they are the best skate i have ever had. Honestly i dont even wear socks some times and from day one i have zero blisters. Not to mention they were 450 and now 129.

which ones? these?

Cupulos is closed. Try front row in Thorold.
