doing a remote starter is real simple, i’d say its one step above putting a radio in your buddys car.
You can get one on ebay for dirt cheap, and just download the wiring diagrams on the12volt.com and do it yourself in an afternoon and do a real professional job.
Just did one on the girlfriends neon, it was like 2 hours and and included me really taking my time and drinking two beers.

A neon, sure i can blast that out in 10min. … but i really love when clowns think they can do these …
