BetaI to BetaII Swap

To make a long story short, I nuked the engine and tranmission in the Elantra. I called to Maroney’s and everything that had for that year was higher mileage (80,000 or more). I found a engine and transmssion from a newer version Elantra for 450 total. From what I was told on other board’s most of it would bolt right up, wrong. Jeff spent the past three days getting the motor and transmission to fit. Three of the four motor mounts has to be modified, the engine cradle had to be notched, and now the wiring for the transmission does not match up. Here are some pictures when the engine was out. It is in the car now, but only by the mounts. I will be looking around for a automatic transmission wiring harness and give Maroney’s a call tomorrow. But now onto the Pictures:
