STi style shifters refer to the type where your brake levers sweep in and that changes the gears up or down. On older bikes, like my winter rig, the frame was older then this type of shifter set up, so you use these little triangles on the down tube where the cable gets routed to make this all work.
LSD? I didn’t think people even bothered now that the chainring is so small…
It wasn’t for for reasons like that, It just makes sprocket grinds easier with having pegs on the right side. Haven’t decided if I’m going to bother going lsd when I upgrade my rear wheel, depends If I find a good used wheel or not I guess.

1" threaded steer tube and $2 headset, mild steel quill stem, stamped steel seat post clamp, and mild steel post? Yikes, I’d have to sink a few bucks into it to make sure nothing would break and hurt me. I woulda went up a few steps just for safety.

Because I’m a CAAD9 faggot, I just couldn’t resist another one. Found it as a used frame and it looks brand new-GF didn’t believe me that it wasn’t new. Also-I have no idea why the carpet looks filthy, that is a clump of George hair by the dropout, but the carpet isn’t all dirty.
This one is most likely going to get SRAM Red as I think it will be nice to try out something new component wise.
