big luxury sedans

lol my living situation changed and I need to buy a house, and houses are expensive and I need money for a down payment. I love the car to death but I can’t have a car loan and a truck loan with my income and expect to get a mortgage so something has to go. I may keep either the S4 or my touareg but it would be a better financial decision to sell everything and buy a beater to rock out for a while so I can put as much down on the house as possible.

after driving a S55 justin has I am definitely turned onto the AMG product line so maybe I ill pick one up in a few years once I know how my money situation looks after i get settled in.

Touareg might be more useful if you get a house…however the S4 seems like more fun.

I looked for the house option in the poll, but didn’t see one at the time… I could of possibly swayed ya :gotme:

No you could not have. It was on my list of things to have before I started making mature decisions with my money

Just PM me next time you want advice. You can do it before or after you sell the A8L for thousands less. Whichever you prefer. <3

Twin tube v12 merks thehave tons of eexpensive problems. Fair warning lol

It’s not a big deal to own a house and still have nice stuff…

Just don’t get married that is when it goes south lol.

Call me old man, but I’m driving a 7500 dollar 32k mile grand marquis, and I own two houses… Working on a third.

Never would I sink money into a euro boat that probably costs me at least $1000 every time I lift the hood.

The maintenance on a 08 marquis has been maybe 300 dollars in the past year, and I have been taking it to the dealer because I don’t give a shit.

I am glad your ego is so massive I don’t know what I would do without you. If you are interested a HUGE reason I bought this car is that I have fucking amazing credit and I got 1.75% on loan for a 05 audi. At a rate that low it was REALLY difficult for me to pass up this purchase. I wanted to know what it was like to drive a 12 cylinder vehicle. Now I know, and I like it a lot. I will finally finish that stupid project with a yamaha engine that I have been working on forever so that will replace my need for something outlandish. replace 4600lb boat with turbo 2800lb rear drive pos.

I have done quite a bit of research on the merks and I don’t think I would get into one without a warranty which brings them out of my price range for the time being. I will probably end up with my camaro to play with and something diesel to be sensible for a little while. Probably a newer jetta or if I can’t get what I want for the touareg I will probably keep it and drive it into the ground. It has been so good to me I hate the though of selling it.

edit: not that it matters but I am only into my W12 for $52 in repairs so far, although it does need brake pads so I will be upto $152 in a couple weeks. I guess I am a little bit away from your $1000 estimate for now.

With a740 credit rating you could have a 1.49 loan throughppenned, but even so I don’t think that alone would warrant a purchase. Not for me at least. unless I really wanted said car.

fixed

What you can afford a 80K car? Don’t worry buy one that is 10 years old with over 100k.

When the bank says you’re approved up to XXX,XXX amount for a home loan you might want to consider not taking out the max

That is solid advice. Why does everyone assume I need advice with how to plan my financial future?

I’m going to keep my large ego out of this.

Would you expect anything less from NYspeed?

Just a guess but you have a S4/A8/Touareg have car payments on two and want to sell everything to buy your first house?

Pick up a Mercury Marauder, they will be the next Buick GN eventually, only 12k produced and a cult following.

The s65 is in a league of its own… never mention those other cars with it. V12 biturbo are you kidding me!

I was looking at a used S65 because they lose half their value in about 12 seconds but then I was told there is a $10,000 maintenance at like 75,000 miles. lol
