it was never shown, but based on what i’ve read about the movie cars they prob had holes, most of them were rats nests just made to do a certain job and look good on screen. When I install the front coilovers I’m going to do the fenderwells in truck bed liner just like I did on the underside of the fender because they can be seen,and to give them some sort of chip guard. however the floor/underside of the car will stay the oxide primer.

yeah i like the underside how its done. but like you said about chips and all that, this car should be driven, might as well optimize it for that
