yup that’s what i did with the trunk, my cameras dead so it will have to wait till tomorrow. Im doing most of the filler on the fiberglass parts, trying to use a little body filler as possible on the car.
get some LEAD for it. old school filler FTW
there is some in there ,a little but it is lead
Lead doesnt work so hot on fiberglass :lol
no way. i was more talking about the pitting on the fender
Just dropping by with a little motivation and nudge you in the right direction
So dave what are you waiting for? Get rid of that poopy 302
^Yummy!
ditto, K swap it kid
sorry i dont have a spare $15k lying around to put into a motorswap:crazy
plus i think an old school pushrod motor is more fitting for the car. Dont worry in time stuff will be done under the hood
Oh come on dave
lets wait till well stallmerize it first and spin some bearings:ponder
:rofl
You can do the swap for less then 15 stop crying
twice as many opportunities :number1:number1:number1
haha you guys are nuts
spent the another 10 or so hours fiberglassing then blocking the trunk/endcaps, finally got them fitting nice. I had to raise the front of the drivers side up a bit to sit flush. Next on the list of things to do is block the rear quarters and work on the side of the endcap to get that gap nice, I already started a bit on the passenger side.
gap
trunk and endcaps
Then I pulled it out to sweep out of the garage and blow all of the dust off it.
I know you probly know this but…
BTW. Its coming along awesome man. I really didnt think you knew how to do bodywork did you go to school for it???
