took a break from the bodywork yesterday to do some more interior work. Put new foam and upholstery on the old nasty set of buckets. it took all day with he help of a friend, and my hands are killing me.

how did you end up getting the centers hogringed down?

very hard to explain, had to come in from under the seat and clip it from the bottom up while pushing the top down. major PITA

did you have to go through the foam? and what did it attach to on the frame one of the metal support bar things?

yea the foam gets sandwiched between the two bar things then it all gets hog ringed down.

nice work bro. i was too chicken shit to do em on my six back in the day. i’d like to tackle a set someday.

took advantage of the nice weather today to finish the trunk and do the gaps on teh endcaps. I used icing to go over everything to hide the 40 grit scratches from blocking, i blocked everything with 150 so it ready for primer. I got the drivers side end cap fitting the way I wanted, and still be removable. Ill work on the passenger side tomorrow.
