looks good dave… got me thinking of getting started on the RS/SS i have always wanted but then looking at the price of shells that need a full resto starting at $10k and me looking at the bills for the shop build… put that on hold… im jealous of you and your car… but then again i was of your 03 to…keep up the good work.
Thanks brooks,I was in the same boat The prices on 67/68 fastbacks have skyrocketed in the past 10 years or so. So I decided I would get one now while I can still afford done, even if it isn’t done. They just get tougher and tougher to find every year, and prices go up.
I stripped the drivers door, once again its perfect with no bondo.
I also stripped the inside of the pass door that is exposed once the door panel is on, it has a texture to it so I couldn’t sand it like I could all of the outside.
You should just remove all the fenders/doors, gonna need to anyways to prime/block and paint it all
yea i will once i start doing the body work, im just trying to get all of the old paint off and get some base primer on it. that will give me a good base to start doing the actual bodywork.
all sanded and primed
I wish I had the time to put into my shit you do… and I know you dont have much with work/school, but at least you can do whatever you want with the little free time you have.

I got most of the front fender stripped, I’m holding off on the bottom because I have to take the fender down to the bodyshop and weld the emblem holes shut.
I also had my seat frames and lower valence fog lights come in the mail today.
You’re movin on this thing. While I don’t like the car all too much, I appreciate the work. Keep it up.
