It is a bigger problem in the NFL…I’d start banning guys and dumping them from teams. There are 100 other people that could fill this spot, especially on a shit fuck team like the Bills.
NHL players are already in training mode for next season. Some will take a bit of a break cough Pat Kane cough. But most take their jobs a bit more seriously than NFL players.
It’s subjective, but I dont think there are 100 players sitting on the bench as good as Dareus.

It is the same thing as business lawsuits. Is it more profitable to keep him around and know what he is capable of on the field or cut him and take a shot on someone else. In the world of NFL problems and crimes, this is so low on the list it only made news because it was in a small town and not a major city.

I don’t know, I don’t agree with the whole, “he’s 24 yrs old, what do you expect?” arguement. These guys are held to different standards than any other 24 year old. Kids look up to them, other teammates rely on them and not to mention that season ticket holders/paying customers get the shaft when star players don’t show up on the field.
