Is it possible to install a block heater on a SR20DET? I’m picking up a 180sx that i intend to drive year round, just wasn’t sure if it has a plug in the block, or if i will have to go with a magnetic one?
I had it done in my car.
Ask for a G20 block heater. Ericksen installed it.

I think that it is in the 150 range. Was 3 years ago. The freeze plug is abuve the starter behind the intake. You can have a look at mine some time if you like.
This is one of the few jobs that I did not want to bother with.
