What are the chances of having block heaters installed on a Silvia or Skyline?
Can’t you get after market ones?
you can get an inline heater that goes on your rad line. That’s what I did on my sr20det and it works great.
Dan
Just take out one of your frost plugs and put a block heater in it…
inline heater worked great last year on my s13
Like the man says, pull or unscrew a frostplug and install a block heater.
i know a rb26 doesnt have them and i believe that also goes for the rb20.
so the inline heater is the only option.
Isn’t there also a heater that sticks to the bottom of the oilpan? I’m not sure how effective that would be, but it’s an option.
Yep. Moroso makes one. Just heats the oil though.

RB’s doesn’t have frost plugs…? How do they drill the oil galleries then?
dont ask me, all i know is that I have no place in my block for a blockheater unless i want to run a heated oil plug.
ALL engines have frost plugs. Whick means theat you can put in a block heater like any other car. Its ustt not the screw in kind. It will cost you like $40 at any machine shop. There just press fit kind thats all.
