Blower motor removal/install tips

so i’ve removed this thing about 8 thousand times doing engine harness swaps, but its a whore and a half to physically pull out once you have all the bolts out, and even worse to get back in. the A/C (black one) is easy, i’m talking about the white one behind the glove box for the blower motor.

i’m just wondering if anyone knows some sort of trick to getting this damn thing in and out. and yes i am frustrated right now as i had to take one out last night to get a harness out of my parts car and it was the hardest one yet, and i have to take mine out later today to start setting up my megasquirt… my car has never been taken apart before so its going to be a huge pain, i can see it coming.

lol eff it just pull the dash and rock that.

i have only taken one out and it was with the dash removed and posted no problem

no, i’m not going to pull my dash, haha. i don’t enjoy pulling them.

This probably won’t help you much but I took mine out with the claw end of a large hammer. When all was said and done everything was in about 100 pieces. I had no intention of putting it back in though :slight_smile:
