unbolt it take the belt off … remove the lines slowly or release pressure from the valve first.

take an old towel, put it over a phillips screwdriver, press screwdriver into the release valve(looks like tire fill valve on the hard line or condensor) with the towel drapped all around the line. hold till it stops hissing. remove the belt, the pump, unbolt the lines at the firewall behind the motor lower passenger side. get new shorter belt. make plugs for the firewall ports you removed the lines from using a new nut and a washer with no hole in it. approximately 75-100lb weight savings and less draw of power from your motor. :tup:
I like to stick a screwdriver in the valve and shut the hood on top of it so the shit goes in the atmosphere.
