I’m having a rear end issue with my S13.
Basically, while making rather close radius turns, the rear end feels like it’s locking up and a metallic clanking noise seems to be coming from the rear end. It almost sounds like a bad cv joint like what would happen with a FWD car but it feels as if something is locking up. It’s fine while driving straight. The LSD seems to be working since I laid a few patches after noticing the problem.

I was told by the previous owner that the rear has a 2 way LSD.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

thats what 2 ways do, its the clutch engaging and disengaging

it sounds like shit. thanks for letting me know. I had a spoon LSD in my old civic which did something similiar but I wasnt sure.

I figured it was the LSD. But I wasn’t positive. Thanks for feedback and reassurance.
