BMW GUYS- wheres this vacuum line go?

alright, on the fuel rail there is a vacuum line that runs ontop that is hardline, and then a soft rubber vacuum line pops on at the front and runs down underneath the intake somewhere. (it goes betwee #1 and #2 runners when going underneath) this cracked off about 10" down and is what is causing my vacuum leak and o2 adapt limit codes. does anyone have a pic of what this goes to or what area in there the other end would be at? it would be greatly appreciated as im trying to avoid taking much more of this thing apart. thanks.

this is on a m52tu b25

thanks!

sounds like a line going to the crankcase vent valve. do you have a picture of what you are talking about?

Is the line in this pic?
This is the AIR PUMP VACUUM CONTROL

alright, heres a pic of what im talking about. i stole the pic offline, the tube connects to this hardline circled in red:

edit, i think the other end appears to go to the fpr, goff would this be the correct one going to the ccv?

i believe that goes to the ccv. i don’t see many m52s but the ccv is in that location you are describing. you could run a new line fairly easy.

goff, you were correct. goes to the ccv. theres a port on the driver side of it, looks like i can get enough room if i unbolt the bracket the wire loom is attached with. thanks.

its the one in this pic that says “rubber plug”

yep that’s it. just be careful not to break the nipple off the valve, they like to become fairly brittle with age and break easy.

well it was more involved then i thought but i got it done. managed to get it done without taking the throttle body off but it was a major pain in the ass. took everything else apart though. car runs alot better, more responsive and im not getting any codes. WOOT! not bad for a few hours of swearin at the car and about 2 bucks for a new hose.
