This thing is cool besides the price($469) might be worth it someone who does a lot of repair work though and would be nice in small places where you can’t get a torch.
That’s definitely expensive for the average weekend warrior, but for a career mechanic that could be a great tool.
Looks like you could DIY one pretty cheap.
There have been times I’d have paid twice that.
That was my thought even if it saves you a couple times its probably worth it.
Theses things work awesome. I have one myself. The life span of them in every day use isn’t very high but when I am working with fuel stuff or rust brake lines at home I enjoy it. Otherwise I use the torch
+1 they are great to work with. they can pay for themselves pretty quick once you save a few balljoints or tierods that you didn’t melt down with a torch/
