Call Turbo XS and get them to send you the part in this pic to replace the huge part you’ve got. But make sure to keep on their asses 'cause their customer service blows.

is it just a plug?

Greddy Profec B Spec 1 is where its at. the non digital simple one. no probs, consistant, and can control spike. if i was baller, i’d get the Eboost2

why i dont need that. my ecu will controll the different settings the manual can hold. all i need is to settings

15lbs and fasterthenturbols1ss

You tell me - from your pics it looks like a spring and a ball popped out when you removed it, lol.

I don’t know anything about how that controller is designed. But it seems that they make a smaller part from that pic I posted. Best bet is to call them and find out

my ecu handles all boost levels too on 2bar mapping. im not talking about that. im just talking about ease of choosing boost levels and how hard it comes on. annddd…NO

i guess ill just keep it on. sense its on there and its “high performance” model

I have that same one. Haven’t installed it yet but was wondering what that part did. You adjust boost with the allen screw on the top right? It seams important having the little ball and spring…unless you leave those in there when you plug it…idk?

yep the original profec was great…the new profec b type s works the same way thats whats on the fd

ball and spring style manual boost controller is the best option…faster spool up…less spiking and boost oscillation…why do you think they use it on all the FAST cars…the original profec b is very good though…i remember a test that was done and that was the closest thing to the manual one(which won the test) plus they’re cheap…

Original profec-b wouldnt go above ~ 24-25psi. Sucked for me. Type-s does but im pretty happy with my 40$ Joe P MBC. =)

im boosting 14-15 at the second of like 15 hashmarks on a 10lb spring… idk
