boost creep is not a news for e3 16g turbos
mine went crept upto 23psi and i just switched to a external wastegate setup.

take the turbo out and move the flapper with your hand. see how much its opening up
your gonna be surprised. they usually dont even open up half way :idiots
unless you have the upgraded 34mm flapper.

if you have a free flowing exhaust(no cat or turboback) your more likely to have a boost creep

i forgot to port out the back of the turbo before it went on… anyways i put the stock turbo back on and put a high flow pump in and im running 10psi but it still leans out. also the ecu is an eprom but has bad caps so the car shuts down after about 10 minutes of driving. ive changed injectors, sensors and i cant even think now. i just want to get it out of my garage it would make a great car with a little tlc if anyone wants it once the title comes. everythings there and it has a fresh inspection…

Just buy a new ecu or send that one out to get recapped

but could that be my boost problem?
