boosted camaro = teh slow

i see plenty of riced out mustangs so i call them ricers

I have seen riced out v6 stangs and camaros… its sad. Somebody has to put tasteless garbage on there car or I wouldnt have anyone to laugh at. The worst riced domestics have to be Grand Ams tho

oh yeah ive seen some bad grand ams

OMG at crossgates commons today, 92 mustang

RICER body kit
RICER wing
RICER paint/stickers

but ill give him this… built 5.0, with a super charger and blower this is the ONLY part that makes me :bowdown

sooo which one is it? A supercharger is a Blower…

Superchargers are blowers… the term blower is usually refering to a roots or twin screw type supercharger (ie. 03-4 Cobra, Lightning, GTP, Cobalt SS, Whipple, Kenne Bell, Lisholm)but most Mustangs have aftermarket centrifugals that are pretty much a compressor of a turbo that is belt driven. (ie.Vortech, Procharger, Powerdyne)

Dual supercharger?

they do have a twin turbo kenne bell cobra

yah…and it made over 1000rwhp on pump gas and stock motor/supercharger :banana

boostin, what was the fluid leakin outta your car last night as you pulled away with joey?

I have a blown rear main seal. I have for a year now. The shop that put in my new motor didnt tap out my throttle body for the turbo and the first time i boosted I blew the rear main out and it cant get fixed unless the tranny is out…the shop is fixing the rear main seal for free when they rebuild my tranny…

It was leaking real bad last night because right before I pulled in and parked I boosted the car so the oil that dripped off, was run down off everything that blew out.

yeah there was a nice puddle there

ahh.

what do you mean by tapping out the TB?

in our throttle bodys theirs a PCV port that your supposed to plug when you put a turbo/supercharger on to keep it from making crankcase pressure…which will blow gaskets, seals etc…They werent aware of this and thats why it blew. I plugged it myself and havent had a single problem…and alot of us after we plug the PCV port in the TB, drill a few holes behind it to relieve pressures in the block along with adding the oil valve cover breather.

ahh, thanks for clarifying :nod. so too much crankcase pressure

this is much more specific…

I move the line going from the valve cover to the TB (fresh air) to the inlet side of the turbo and the PVC valve side gets an extra ball check valve so the boost cant pressurize the crankcase. This way the turbo inlet will still pull at least some kind of vacuum on the crankcase even under boost but it doesent look as clean as a catch can or breather filter

Sorry my bad, i was thinking about 43543 things when i wrote it. he had a blower, big ass belt at least 1/2 inch thick and 2 inches wide, running up to it.

sorry homie but i guess tonights events of blowing the turbo really does = boostin camaro = teh slow. :sad

boostin camaro= overboostin
