boosted camaro = teh slow

i may have little man t/morrow maybe thurs?

i had a 383 lt1, but sold it for an ls1

was the red 93 z28 joe p’s old one :ponder

Walbros aren’t junk. If they flow the fuel you need, they are fine.

High IDC is not a good thing either.

haha…thats funny…cause I was tuning my car because I have had a misfire for over a month now…my fuel pressure is alot lower then it should be. Incase you didnt notice, did you see me keep looking to my left side seat??

thats cool u got a right side drive camaro!!!???

when i sit in mine the only thing thats on my left side is a door and a bar…

ahaahahaaaahaa AAAAaaaaaahhhhHHh

project fat azz will be done soon!!! :wow :nod :mwahaha :mwahaha :mwahaha :mwahaha

:crackup :crackup wow i didn’t even catch that :haha

:wtf :crackup

So you are tuning, the car is misfiring, fuel pressure issue, you’re in the passenger’s seat, and you decide to race? Interesting course of events.

what about o2 sensors, i know the ls1 always has problems with them, especially after modding, just another thing you should check over

O2 sensors should not affect WOT AFR. Just a FYI.

if your running FI you should def beef up your fuel system, walboro is the shit by the way ran a 255lph intank fuelpump in my old camaro and ran great

Your Camaro is JDM???
Mad tyte y0!!!

honestly… i didnt see him looking anywhere… just heard the turbo spool and john dumped the sti in 4th n took off… and pulled a little bit… i mean it wasnt walking away by any means… BOTH cars were running like dog shit. mine on the other hand… not running like poop… she just needs a good beating every now n then. :banana

sorry…my mind has been on other things this week…I meant to my right passanger seat…my bad

Well, my car is running a TON better with the new fuel filter, and fuel injector cleaner that I ran through it…it still breaks up tho a little on the downshift?? Not sure why its doing this but it deff. pulls much harder higher in the rpms…my fuel filter musta been starting to clogg up…

you guys comming today (wensday) or thursday??

you sure ur not flooding it out? too much fuel can (and will) cause it to break up badly (ask me how i know)… haha… check the gap on all your plugs and make sure they are gapped down tight so ur not getting spark blow out under boost as well… the fuel filter im sure was a contributing issue but you still may have a pump concern as well. im down to help whenever… john on the other hand is outta commission til thurs as hes watching his son tomorrow i believe.

Fuel injector cleaner? Seriously?

Anyhow, always good to replace the fuel filter which is often missed. How did the screen look?

you know, i hadnt really thought about this til now but are you running on straight pump gas or are you using the water/meth?.. i wonder if you might have an off mix of your water meth or a clogged nozzle causing an issue there if ur spraying… just something to consider as well.

this is straight 93 octane pump gas…my Meth is not hooked up yet…

As far as flooding it out, im more on the lean side, then on the rich…Im working on my tune right now as we speak and im richening it up a little bit more, then i will hook it up to my car in the morning and go do another WOT run and see if its even better…

as far as my spark plug gapping goes, its .028…my last plugs were NGKTR6’s gapped at .035 and these ones in now are BR7EF’s…my car was doing this with my old plugs so these plugs arent the issue…the plugs I have in now (BR7EF) are proven to be one of the best plugs for us F/I 3.8 series 2 guys, which is why I switched over…

You match up the plugs based on the power level. If your car’s tune changed dramatically, I would not re-tune. Fix the problem first. AFR can be changed by many things. Hell, even minor cases of blowout will affect your AFR. Simply using that as a guideline, you will fuck yourself fixing a non-issue.
