well, i was cruising down highway 52 towards 59 in manitoba, heading up towards winnipeg when i decide to downshift for the turn to 59, downshifting from 3rd to 2nd for a nice quick turn, and then gun it out of the corner…
then i hear a nice ticking… getting louder and annoying, then my car quits on me… there i am, stuck at the side of the road and my car wont start.
finally i get the bugger to start and the ticking is horendously loud, and the car dies if i let off the gas at all…
i knew i was done for.
so i get it started AGAIN and head imediately back to school, at the speedlimit of 100.
through the next 2 minutes, the ticking gets louder and louder and louder
your right, i went to look at the car about 30 min ago…
it is cylinder 2
it actually broke off the engine mounting spots aswell…
kinda fun to play with actually…
found more parts of the block and the bottom to the conrod in the engine bay
funfun!
and also, i do consider the 50shot a possible contributing factor, i will also contribute it to the beating the car takes daily, the amount of drifting, lack of rebuild and stuff like that.
