Boring Over my motor.

Alright well that ends that.

Ill just drive the bitch til she dies and pick up something better for modding.

Thank you for your insight and yes I know it was a stupid idea, but I figured I might as well ask.

Time to start saving…

lol flamed out of a bad idea in under an hour, with a bonus motocrossx23 jab!

This thread restores my faith in NYSpeed.

figure out what exactly you want out of a car in the meantime and how much you’ll have to spend. You’ll be a whole lot happier in the end, man

(and read more on general performance mods)

So heres what id like to do

  1. Bore over. Increase displacement to 4.1 from 3.8
  2. Supercharge, Just the Stage one common on GTPs and SSEI’s
  3. Powerchip or somethign along those lines

ve abandoned my possible bmw project to look out new things, again.

How much would it cost, how long would my car be out of my hands for my Buick lesabre 3.8 to be bored over to 4.1.

The plan is(in the future) to pick up a '96 Impala SS with an Lt1. I have large plans for it, starting with a cam, headers, full exhaust, forged pistons, roller rockers and all that shit.

MikeRi25?

Hahaha, Yea i guess I have covered the same topic more than once.

And I am still looking to do a 94-96 Impala SS, with lots of fun stuff.

Helps to have $$$ to even start.

I hate being poor.

no, you’re looking to do a '94/'95 impala to do fun stuff to. OBD-I, remember?

easiest route out: do not mod the buick.

you’ll waste alot of money for minimal (at best) gains.

Yep.

and yes 94-95 Impalas for OBD 1

No mods for the buick except a tune up which she needs.

Thanks again for your input

That 3800 should last forever. Those engines are tough as nails…as long as you dont get alot of detonation.
