Ok, heres my stupid thread of the day.
I am curious about having thr 3800 motor in my lesabre Bored over.
I am curious to local shops that can do it, Average cost.
Basicly I want to drive it in. Wait about 1-2 days, Come back, pay money and leave with a bored over motor.
I have 145k on the motor and Want to get a little more power out of my old buick.
I cant afford to do a whole lot but am curious.

Wait 1-2 days to have a motor pulled, bored and reassembled? Thats pushing it. If its the 3800 motor you might as well find a trashed GTP and swap the 3800 supercharged motor and ECU and call it a day if you want more power. Probably the cheaper route.

I don’t think the 3800 Supercharged was out til '97 so no it did not come with OBD 1. Your best bet then is to drive it til it dies because it’ll cost you way too much $ otherwise.
