Gang bangers shooting other gang bangers is never going to matter as much as innocent people getting killed. When that girl in Chicago got killed who as just minding her own business it was news and people cared. Bangers shooting bangers is just a DIY solution to having too many shitty people in your city and rightfully so will never matter to the general population of law abiding citizens the way innocent lives being taken does.

i like this same argument for why the boston marathon deaths are more significant than 10x overseas war-zone deaths by US bombs or drones or whatever… if those people don’t die in a US collateral damage incident they go out on diarrhoea, suicide bombers, not joining the local terrorist faction, meeting a boy at the mall out of wedlock, protesting not being allowed to go to school, other causes due to lack of clean drinking water and no public sewer system, malaria, or anything else that happens as a result of a stupid moral code or a corrupt gov’t that doesn’t give two shits about their civilian population.
