The Boston Marathon headquarters has been locked down after two explosions were reported near the finish line, a spokesman told Reuters.
Witnesses reportedly heard two booms near the finish line inside the Fairmount Copley Plaza Hotel that sounded like two claps of thunder.
The Associated Press says there are reports of injuries.
Had a co-worker there and he reports he’s ok and on his way home. Heard a person on the news say people were dead. Prayer go out to everyone there.

i had family attending (people who took care of me after my mom died). everyone is safe. My “dad” was at mile marker 24 and is fine. My “mom” was across the street from the explosions. a little shaken up but fine. and my real sister and “sister” were near fenway and are now headed away from everything.
