Hey i bought a car maybe 3months ago but have garaged it since i purchased it. There is no loan on the car but the thing is i have no registered it at all. I do own the car with transfer ownership and all but have not went to MTO. This is where it gets complicated. I am thinking of selling/trading the car now and if the deal works out if i trade/sell, do i have to register it before i sell i and pay all that or can i just simply transfer ownership and thats that. I am either goin to trade it in for a 240sx from a dealer or sell it privately. I don’t know how the whole process works if its not registered yet. I have all documents to prove i do own it though. if you ask the drivers license bureau they will tell you that you must transfer and pay the taxes before you sell it.
just find someone who isnt afraid of forging the signatures and whatever. i’ve done all this twice this year with no problems. heck, the people at the license bureau dont care, so long as you absolve them from any involvement in it. i had one tell me straight up, “so long as i dont know and cant get in trouble for it, i dont care what you do.” so just go with that
