The best part of this car was the place where you bought it. Some buy-here-pay-here in Ohio run by Croatians in fake leather coats, and some short woman. All with bluetooth headsets.
A kid comes into the “office:”
Kid: “I’m wondering about your 5 speeds on the lot?”
Croatian: “Which 5 speed? We have a lot of 5 speeds…”
Kid: “um how about that Jetta over there?”
Croatian: “Oh that car has an upgraded motor and turbo - real fast - can’t let that thing go for less that $15k. How much you looking to spend anyway?”
Kid: “Well, I make about $350 a month…”
Croatian: “We don’t deal in that here - get outa here.”
Then 2 thugs show up looking to buy a Mercury Marauder, but it’s missing a fog light and the heat won’t come on. “I ain’t buyin’ no problems! We outa heeerrr.”
