bought 4, 275/40/17 BFG G-Force KDWS. Anyone ever run these before? I wanted something that’ll be a good all around tire, for semi aggressive street driving. But will also handle sub par weather.
those the ones dodge is throwing on the new srt4s?
same series, I think dodge is putting on the KDW
mmk cus the ones on the srt4’s are nice but not worth the price for what you get in performnace…blue if you’re really really lookin for a sticky street tire that u can take some nice twisty’s in why don’t oyu look at the victoracers?
or
I looked at them. I need something to handles the rain too
the v700s will…
falken tires… best street tire i have ever driven on. you can purchase them from your local Hybridynamics
price and where? I have a discount tire credit card, that gives me 0% for 90 days.
the guys last year when i was autoxing before my tranny went were whoopin ass during the rain events while the others on standard victoracers couldnt. just dont’ get them shaved or heat cycled and they’ll do alright with the "v"pattern…i thnk unshaved and un heat cycled for your size were 180 a piece from tirerack.
I just looked at them, theyre more of a competition tire. I’m looking for of an everyday tire that’ll hold up to some spirited driving.
I’m ordering 18’s for road coursing. If they make them in an 18, I think thats what ill go with though.
just by the way u were talking about wanting lots of traction i figured they’d be an option…yeah they’re competition but man you can’t beat them on the street for the price tho. if you order them for compettition use only get them heat cycled so you don’t have to break them in
ill keep them in mind
ET streets?? :dunno:
sorry… setup was wayyyyyy too good :tounge:
^^ all good, I won’t need to use my Mickeys when i beat you though
I use the Victoracers (the top tire) for AutoXing. It is by no means a street tire. You won’t get hardly any miles out of it, and it’ll be “bald” (which is still great for Xin’ but is illegal for the streets) before you even know it.
The V700 below can be used as a street tire, in fact I’m planning to get a set of 275/40/17 and 315/35/17s for my street tires within the next month. However, it is a pretty sketchy tire in the rain unless they are brand new. I have a beater truck for wet days. And it will get you nowhere but a ditch in the snow (it doesn’t snow here… but if it’s as bad as it is in the rain it’ll be scary in the snow). Also, you’re looking at under 10k miles out of a set, less if AutoXed on. That’s okay w/ me cuz I put a bit under 10k on my car a year, and all I expect out of tires is a year.
Also, like BlueMeanie said if you get them for comp. use get them heat cycled… but also get them shaved to 4/32nds or less. If you don’t they will chunk and wear unevenly. However, on the street you can beat them pretty damn hard seeing as they are designed as a race tire. Burnouts will thrash them in a hurry though.

I had a set of BFG gforce KD on my Blue SS those were some damn sticky tires
I was lookin at those, but they didnt list any good wet traction.
the people at discount tire said, the difference between the KDWS and the KDW isn’t noticeable… so I guess we’ll find out
