I mean I remember making FUN of him for holding hands with the Saudi King but I never said that it weakened the whole freaking country.
I never said you were guilty of this but you can’t be serious in thinking people didn’t nitpick over every little thing he did. I just think it’s funny that the right is doing the nitpicking this time and it’s the left complaining about it. I guess it’s just part of being president though and would assume Obama is aware of this and will shrug it off just like Bush did.

I think you are misunderstanding what I am trying to say. I don’t agree with jeg in thinking this “makes our country weaker” and I agree that it is nitpicking bullshit at it’s finest. My point is that the nitpicking is nothing new, it was something that happened for the last 8 years under bush and it’s just funny that the roles are now reversed.:shrug: I thought I made that pretty clear but if you need evidence of the bush nitpicking just do a google search. You get everything from him being a nazi to him being an idiot for falling off his bike or choking on a pretzle.
Ok maybe I’m not the one being clear. I understand poking fun at the president. And for 8 years there was a lot to make fun of, and there was certainly a lot to criticize him for.
But the arguments made in this thread is not that it was stupid or funny but that it hurt the nation and I’m not saying you agree with that but for the people who do they are idiots.
