hey, i’m going to be doing my brakes; front and rear on 1990 Nissan 240sx. i was wondering if anyone would know the exact tool size for the brake caliper pin bolt, also is it a Torx or Hex… I’ve looked through the service manual, but found nothing… the reason why i want to know is that im short for cash right now and would rather buy the tool i need instead of buying a set…
what pin bolt are you talking about?
I just upgraded my front/rear pads and rotors…calipers in the next little while…
To separate and take off the stock calipers the two bolts holding it together are 14mm…Is this what your talking about?
oh…right on so i dont need to buy any new tools…
thanks, i just figured that the bolts holding the caliper on were either Torx or Hex,
i didn’t bother looking at the actual brake caliper, because i wanted to get the tools before i started,
but since its a 14mm, thats great!
A mod can delete this, sorry for the trouble…
