Cheap fix + Brakes + Long trip through hilly terrain =

Try to find the source of the fluid, it has to be going somewhere then the issue can be properly assessed.

I can do it if you want

And aren’t you towing a trailer on this trip? Fix it right or you’re asking for trouble. Find the leak, cut out the bad section, flare the ends, install new section, done.

god damn, some issues just don’t deserve a cheap fix. do the right thing with it so that you’re lucky enough to get there and maybe even enough to get back.
