just curious how much fluid i would need to completely replace the old stuff in my 180 with abs.
a liter or two. get two liters or four of those little half litter bottles and your should be safe, then you can return the stuff you don’t use.
get some DOT 4 synthetic.
ya so i got a litre and a half roughly, and now i have a litre left over lol. the stuff in there has obviously been done b4 beacuse it came out pretty clean, drained down my MC twice so i figured that should be good. Now hopefully the correct pads show up soon so i can put my hawks in the front, they sent me non abs ones when i need abs ones. o well.

when I did my brake fluid I did over a litre, the old fluid can look clean but it could have absorbed alot of water which would really reduce it’s boiling point. so I made sure all the old stuff was out and it was filled up with new DOT4 synthetic. seems to be working great!
I remember and old truck I used to have, would get an entire flush like once a week… To bad I needed wheel cylinders though.
